Sam Bradford: Losing to in-state rival Kansas City, Sammy B managed to go 21 of 43 for 181 yards with two INTs in a rough outing for the Sooner signal-caller, falling by a score of 27 to 13.
Rob Gronkowski & Aaron Hernandez: The two headed Patriot TE Hydra achieved a maximum of efficiency with a minimal effort. Rob Gronkowski caught 1 pass for 25 yards while Aaron Hernandez added another 4 receptions for 31 yards, two of them going for TDs. Hernandez added another 16 yards on a single carry in the game helping to lift visiting New England over the host Green Bay Packers.
Colt McCoy: Giving rival Cincinnati all they could handle, Colt went an impressive 19 of 25 for 243 yards and a pair of TDs. Laser accurate on the day, even in the loss McCoy gave Browns fans something to be hopeful about with regard to their future. Imagine what happens when he gets a receiving corps.
Jimmy Clausen: Carolina doubled their win total in their game with visiting Arizona. It had little to do with our man Clausen however as they pounded the rock with Jonathan Stewart to moderate success. Jimmy C. was an economic but efficient 13 of 19 for 141 yards with 1 TD and no INTs. A step forward for sure, he seems to be settling down in the pocket a little more with each game. Still not sure if he can hold off Andrew Luck as Carolina draws closer to that #1 overall pick.
Tim Tebow: Timmy T. gets his first start in Colorado and does a decent job of it, throwing 8 of 16 for 138 yards with a TD and 8 carries for 78 yards. One of those impromptu scampers was good for a 40 TD and a young running back dropped a sure thing TD that would have made the stat line even better. The Raiders won the contest but Bronco fans got a little peek at their future and I bet more than a few are happy with this year’s Xmas present in the form of a Gator rookie QB. He starts against the Texans dismal pass defense this Sunday.
Mike Williams: Falling to the juggernaut Lions, the high flying Bucs tasted a rare defeat at home this season in OT but our man M-Will still showed up to punch that clock. Williams caught 6 passes for 96 yards and a TD on the afternoon. Business as usual.
Dez Bryant: Injured Reserve.
Demaryius Thomas: Injured, no stats.
Ryan Mathews: Finally getting the same amount of reps as Mike Tolbert, Ryan M. outgained Tolbert (56 yards) but didn’t get in the end zone. This is a good sign that the coaches are getting comfortable with Ryan and channeling more work his way. Would love to see what he can do when completely healthy.
Jahvid Best: Still not at 100%, Jahvid only had 6 carries on the day for 12 yards as Maurice Morris soaked up all the first RB reps.
CJ Spiller: Spiller got nine carries for 16 yards and another 2 catches for 21 yards, a kickoff return for 14 yards and a punt return for 34 yards. He doesn’t do windows but he WILL carry your shoulder pads if you ask nicely.
Ndamukong Suh: A quiet day for the future Defensive ROY, only two tackles and an assist on the day vs ex-divisional rival Tampa Bay.
Gerald McCoy: Injured Reserve.
LeGarrette Blount: Legarrette only carried the rock 15 times but he made the most of it with 110 yards rushing and a TD. If he didn’t have boxers hands he might actually get some passes thrown his way. No, we’re never going to let it go.
