New York Knicks guard and Harvard graduate Jeremy Lin has been a man on fire the past week… on the court and in the trading card world. In fact, the Asian guard with speed and vision has outsold the most recent hobby superstar, Blake Griffin.
While we strongly agree with Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni that Lin’s breakout is a long term thing, not just a great series of games, we also don’t believe that the prices in auctions can hold. Then again, he’s got the massive New York market buying as well as the vast international market of Asian buyers who are proven drivers of price. The Ichiro Effect.
